Can I use a photo from our wedding photographer's online gallery?

You can, but the best result comes from the original high-resolution file rather than a screenshot or a web-sized download. Most wedding photographers will happily send the full-size version of a favourite shot if you ask. We print from the full-resolution image you upload, so starting with the photographer's original gives you the crispest detail on his cufflinks.

Will our faces still be recognisable on such a small cufflink?

They will if you crop close. A head-and-shoulders shot of the two of you fills the square nicely, whereas a full-length photo of you both in front of the venue shrinks your faces to tiny details. Use the zoom in the live preview to push in on your faces and check both cufflinks before you order.

Can I put our wedding date on the cufflinks instead of a photo?

Yes. Type the date in a font you like using any simple design app, save it as an image and upload it. Roman numerals, a date written in your own handwriting or a plain modern typeface all work well. Yes, every pair is gift boxed in our Cornwall workshop before it goes out, so there is nothing to wrap apart from the box itself if you want to. Many people add a small card explaining why they chose that particular photo, which he can keep in the box with the cufflinks.
