Why cufflinks work as a bulk gift

Group gifts have a habit of disappearing. Branded mugs end up at the back of a cupboard, lanyards get binned after the event, and even good-quality notebooks are forgotten by spring. Personalised cufflinks sit in a different category. They are worn to exactly the occasions an organisation wants to be associated with: weddings, formal dinners, interviews, funerals and awards evenings. A pair printed with a company logo, a club emblem or a school's leaving year is carried into those moments by the person who received it, which is a much better return on a gift budget than anything that stays in a drawer.

They are also practical to give. Each pair comes in its own gift box, so there is nothing to wrap, and a square cufflink with a silver-coloured polished finish suits almost any style of dress, from a business suit to full black tie. For recipients who never wear double cuffs, a boxed pair still makes a smart keepsake of a milestone.

How group ordering works

The pricing is deliberately simple. One to four pairs cost £40 each with shipping included. Once your basket holds five or more pairs in total, every pair costs £15 and a single £5 shipping charge covers the order. Ten pairs come to £155 and fifty come to £755. There are no further bulk tiers, no forms to fill in and nothing to negotiate: the same £15 applies to the fifth pair and the five-hundredth.

What makes it especially flexible is that the basket counts pairs across designs. A company can order pairs carrying the main logo for most staff, plus individual pairs with names for award winners. A rugby club can give each team its own design. A leavers' committee can make one design per house. All of it sits in one basket, and every pair counts towards the five.

In practice, the smoothest orders have one organiser. That person gathers the artwork, confirms names and spellings, checks any permissions and places the order. Upload each design on its product page, use the live preview to see it on both cufflinks, drag and zoom until the framing is right, and add it to the basket. Then pay once through the secure checkout.

Getting the artwork right

We print from the full-resolution original you upload, so the quality of the file matters. For logos and crests, ask your marketing team, club secretary or school office for the master artwork, ideally a vector file or a large image, rather than copying something from a website. Simple, bold designs with strong contrast read best at cufflink size, and text works best as a single short line.

Each pair carries a single image across both cufflinks. If you want a logo and a year together, combine them into one piece of artwork before uploading; if you want two different designs, they become two pairs.

Rights matter too. For any logo, crest, badge or emblem, whether it belongs to a company, club, lodge, school, university, police force, fire service or regiment, you must own the artwork or have permission to use it. We may decline artwork we can't print lawfully, and each of our group pages explains where permission usually comes from.

Every pair is made in our workshop in Cornwall, individually gift boxed, and sent to your chosen UK address. Group orders go to a single address, so an office manager, club treasurer or mess secretary can check the set and hand the pairs out personally. Please allow plenty of time before a fixed date such as an awards night or a leavers' ball, particularly when artwork needs approval from someone else first.
